CRANE, the Community Resilience Action Network of Erie, is an alliance of organizations that have a commitment to developing a climate-conscious community through education, coordination, and the implementation of projects that address climate change and build a resilient community.

CRANE was formed in 2012, and while not a formal 501c3, CRANE operates with a set of by-laws that guide the function and structure of the group, while striving to achieve the goals and objectives outlined within the CRANE strategic plan.What We Do
What We Do
CRANE focuses on a community-engaged approach to building climate resiliency in all of Erie County, with a special focus on underserved and marginalized communities. CRANE functions on partnership building and providing capacity to communities in the form of outreach, education, data acquisition, technical assistance, and on-the-ground resilience and sustainability based projects.
